Drag Show in Port Hope Creates A Bit of Levity During COVID-19 Times

A drag show in Port Hope created a bit of levity during these COVID times.

On Tuesday, June 30 at 7 p.m. Curtis Maillett hosted the drag show at the Calvary Pentecostal Church parking lot.

The performers were, Cheyenne Coxx, Miss J and Alex Uptight.

The show lasted approximately two hours with different numbers throughout the evening.

“We did this show because through COVID-19 many people were struggling with mental health and needing entertainment,” said Maillett.

The next show is on July 17 starting at 7 p.m. at the Port Hope United Church.

The event features, Cheyenne Cox, Anna Rexia, Miss J, Devoit “Virtue, Alex Uptight and Miss Taken.
