A seven-week campaign targeting thefts at two Ajax LCBO outlets resulted in 25 suspects being charged.

Over a seven-week period beginning on January 15, 2020, plainclothes officers attended two LCBO outlets located on Kingston Road East and Bayly Street West in Ajax. Working closely with LCBO Resource Protection Investigators, officers focused on thefts by customers attending the stores. Officers arrested fourteen individuals and issued arrest warrants for 11 others, laying 171 criminal charges including: Assault a Peace Officer; Possession of Controlled Substances; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime; Theft; Breach and Fail to Appear.
