Cobourg Police – Male Arrested for Shoplifting

On Friday the 17th of January 2020, at approximately 9:00 am, Police responded to a business located in the downtown core receiving a report of theft from the premise. The suspect male had reportedly exited the store passing all points of purchase making no attempt to pay for property which he had concealed on his person.

As a result of a subsequent Police investigation, 31-year-old Seth GRAY of Cobourg was located, arrested and charged with Theft under $5000 and Possession of Property obtained by crime under the Criminal Code.

GRAY was subsequently released from police custody, scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in February 2020.
