Fish Lift At Cobourg Creek

In Local, News, Photo Gallery
Over 40 volunteers helped put over 169 rainbow trout along Cobourg Creek on Saturday morning at The Mill.
The event has been taking place for over 40 years and this year the largest male was 17 pounds and the largest female was 12 pounds.
The anglers use their nets to bring the trout upstream and then block off the area before netting the first and placing them in a mesh net to be hoisted up and over the dam and released once again.
The purpose of the event is the help the trout spawn up river.
