The Municipality of Brighton, in its ongoing efforts to assist residents with shoreline flooding, would like to outline the Flood Recovery Plan options that are available. Sand and bag depots that are currently available will be removed soon by staff. If sand or bags are still required, they will be available at the Public Works Building located at 67 Sharp Road during regular business hours.

1. A disposal bin will be available for empty sandbags at 67 Sharp Road from 7:00 AM till 7:00 PM daily.

2. Full sandbags can be brought to 67 Sharp Rd and left beside the bin for disposal.

3. The Municipality of Brighton will be picking up full sandbags at the curbside during regular business hours from August 26 to September 6, 2019. Once residents have placed sandbags at the curbside, they must contact the Public Works Department at 613-475-1162 for pick up.

We want to remind residents that the decision to remove sandbags from your property is up to you. Please observe local Notices from the Lower Trent Conservation Authority when making these decisions.
