The “Float Your Funny Too!” is coming back to Port Hope.
From April 11-13 there will be 18 comics appearing at The Ganny as part of the Float Your Fanny Down The Ganny festivities.
“I think a comedy festival fits in perfect with the Float Your Fanny Down The Ganny Race,” said artistic director and owner of Ontario Street Theatre Sean Carthew.
“Both are hysterical.”
Carthew said he hope to keep building the Comedy Festival year by year.
On April 11, starting at 8 p.m. there will be a line-up of seven stand-up comedians, with 10-minutes per comic. It will be “fast and furious.”
On Arpil 12, headliner Darren Frost takes the stage with Angela Maiorano-Thurston and Aaron Fry.
And on Saturday, April 13, starting at 8 p.m. it will be a Comedy Roast Battle with eight comics roasting each other and the audience deciding who the wins.
Tickets are $25 per show or $60 for all three shows.
The Social will be firing up the barbeque from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. serving sausage on a bun, classic burger or a veggie burger.
“Float Your Funny Too” is being put on by Ontario Street Theatre and The Ganny.
