Upcoming Crime Prevention Events – Durham Region

Three events are being held over the coming weeks to educate members of the community on crime prevention and the Neighbourhood Watch program.

These events are being sponsored in your communities by the DRPS Neighbourhood Watch program and local community partners.

The first event is a Neighbourhood Watch drop-in information session taking place on Thursday March 29, 2018 at East Division, 2046 Maple Grove Road, Bowmanville, from 5 – 7 p.m.

The second event is a dedicated crime prevention training session on Thursday April 5, 2018, from 7 – 9 p.m., at the South Courtice Arena and Recreation Complex, 1595 Prestonvale Road, Courtice, Upper Viewing Rooms 2 & 3. Officers will be there to address crime prevention, and how the public can partner with the police to contribute to community safety, along with Neighbourhood Watch information.

The third event will also cover crime prevention tips and Neighbourhood Watch information and takes place on Tuesday April 10, 2018, from 7- 9 p.m. at All Saints High School in Whitby,3001 Country Lane in the Library Resource Room.
