UPDATE – Cobourg Police Say No Arrests/Charges Following YouTube Video

Cobourg Police Communications spokesperson Laurie Debattista stated, “We are aware of the video and no arrests were made. This was only an apprehension and the person was taken to receive the proper care she needed.”

A video on YouTube in Cobourg seems is circulating showing a confused woman on Division Street.
The video is titled “Tweaker Kicks Guy In Head For Trying To Help” and was posted on March 30, 2019.

The video appears to have been taken from a upper floor on Division Street showing a woman who appears confused on the street.
At least twice the woman strikes a man.
The woman first slaps the man, then he takes her to the ground, kicks him in the head.
After walking away the woman falls to the ground on James Street. Cobourg Police arrived and take the woman into custody.
Today’s Northumberland has reached out to Cobourg Police for comment and if the woman is facing charges.
