In Photo Gallery, Police Blotter

Emergency services were busy on Wednesday morning (December 19, 2018) after two separate collisions. The first was on County Road 2 just east of Cobourg, just east of Workman Road at approximately 7:22 a.m. when a vehicle with four occupants lost control and entered the ditch rolling numerous times. Four people were in the vehicles at the time. Two were taken to Northumberland Hills Hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
The driver was charged with careless driving and not wearing a seatbelt.
While emergency services were on scene, a passerby stopped to let them know of a second collision on Workman Road a short distance away. When emergency services arrived on scene, the driver was out of the vehicle and not injured. The driver stated he lost control on the slippery roads and entered the ditch before traveling some distance. No word if the driver was charged.
