Port Hope Seeking Volunteers to Join Local Boards and Quasi-Judicial Committees

The Municipality of Port Hope is seeking representatives from the community to serve on Local Boards and Quasi-Judicial Committees.

These groups play an important role in local governance by supporting decision-making and providing advice and recommendations to Council. Many include both members of the public and Council representatives, creating valuable opportunities to share your knowledge, experience, ideas and perspectives, while helping shape Port Hope’s future.

These positions are volunteer-based and are a meaningful way to:

Meet new people and share your skills, ideas and talents

Provide input on the municipality’s strategic direction and decision-making

Help local government respond to community issues and priorities

Make a positive difference in your community

Current opportunities are available on the:

Committee of Adjustment

Heritage Business Improvement Area (HBIA)

Port Hope Police Services Board

Port Hope Public Library Board

Property Standards Appeal Committee
