Video – Not Hard to Find Peace in Northumberland County

In Local, Weather

In the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season it’s not hard to find peace in Northumberland.

On Saturday, December 27, 2025, but eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 401 were at a near stop at times by Grafton.

A number of people thought it would be quicker to take the exit at Colborne and hop back on in Grafton, but there wasn’t any collision to avoid – it was just a lot of travellers along the highway.

Only minutes from the highway there are always peaceful things to see like the small creek at Nawautin Sanctuary or the cross that has been overlooking Lake Ontario for several decades.
