Murdoch Mysteries Comes Back to Port Hope

Shaftesbury Murdoch XIX Inc. will be in town next week filming scenes for an upcoming episode of Murdoch Mysteries. Filming will take place in and around Farley Mowat Park with impacts on Walton Street, Queen Street and Mill Street.

December 2 and 3

Film crews will be set dressing in and around Farley Mowat Park beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Thursday, December 4

Filming will take place on this day with the following impacts:

  • Walton Street (from Queen Street to Mill Street)
    • Intermittent traffic and pedestrian control: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Queen Street (from Walton Street to Robertson Street)
    • Intermittent traffic and pedestrian control: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Augusta Street (from Elias Street to Queen Street)
    • Intermittent traffic and pedestrian control: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Parking impacts

Production will be occupying the following parking areas:

  • South side of Walton Street (from Queen Street to Mill Street) – December 2 to December 5
  • North side of Walton Street (from Queen Street to Mill Street) – December 3 at 6:00 p.m. to December 5
  • East side of Queen Street (from Walton Street to Robertson Street) – December 3 at 6:00 p.m. to December 4 at 11:00 p.m.
  • North and South side of Augusta Street (from Queen Street to Elias Street) – December 3 at 6:00 p.m. to December 4 at 11:00 p.m.
  • Parking lot at 74 Queen Street – December 4
  • Library parking lot – December 4

Friday, December 5

Film crews will be taking down set dressing in and around Farley Mowat Park beginning at 8:00 a.m.
