The magic of the holiday season is rolling into Quinte West this Saturday, November 29, as the beautifully illuminated Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Holiday Train makes a special stop in Trenton. The festive event aims to raise food and monetary donations for the local community’s needs, with all proceeds remaining in the area.

The train is scheduled to arrive at the RCAF Road railway crossing (at RCAF Road and County Road 21, south side of the crossing) at 10:45 a.m.

The Trenton Care & Share Food Bank will be on-site collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations. Uniformed members of 8 Wing CFB Trenton will be on hand to accept the food donations.

The event will feature a free, live performance by acclaimed Canadian country musicians Jade Eagleson and Teigen Gayse.

Attendees are encouraged to bring donations to help their neighbors in need. Monetary donations will also be accepted. All contributions collected at the event will stay within the Trenton community.

The CPKC Holiday Train has raised millions of dollars and millions of pounds of food for communities across North America since its inception in 1999. Join your neighbors for this festive tradition and help make a difference this holiday season.
