The City of Belleville’s new Water Leak Forgiveness Adjustment Program supports residents facing high water bills caused by unexpected plumbing leaks.

The program is available to all metered water customers whose account is in good standing that can demonstrate that a leak has occurred and has been repaired. Approved applicants will receive a credit on a portion of their next bill, to offset the cost attributable to the leak.

Residents interested in applying can now do so online through the City’s website or in-person at City Hall (169 Front St.).

For details on eligibility, application requirements and to submit a form, visit our Water Leak Forgiveness Adjustment Application webpage. For more information, contact 613-966-3657 or waterbilling@belleville.ca.
Please note: this program is not available to commercial, industrial, institutional or income-generating rental properties.
