Male Found with Gunshot Wound in Ajax

Police are investigating after a male was found with a gunshot wound in Ajax.

On Saturday, February 17, 2018, at approximately 11:00 p.m., members of West Division responded to a report of a 24-year-old male who was robbed and shot in the leg in the area of Westney Road North and Ivers Court. The male was found in his vehicle with a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He is not co-operating with investigators.

Police are investigating where the incident occurred and are appealing to anyone with any information to come forward.
