Statement by Northumberland County Warden Regarding Special Meeting

In City Hall

“At a closed meeting of County Council in October 2024, Council identified independent legal counsel to undertake a neutral and impartial third-party investigation of County hiring practices in and around late 2023 through 2024.

The findings of this independent investigation were presented to Council in a closed meeting on July 31, 2025. The investigation concluded that there was no evidence to support a finding of any irregular or improper hiring practices.”
