Salmon Season Ends For Another Year

The salmon season ended for another year for anglers around the area on Sunday, September 30, 2018.
A number of Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry Officers were working in uniform and plain clothes monitoring the activities of anglers along area waterways in Cobourg and Port Hope.
Upwards of 40 charges were laid by MNRF officers over the weekend for fines including fishing in a sanctuary, snagging, no fishing license among other infranctions.
