Video – Fire Damages Duplex in Cobourg

A duplex was heavily damaged by fire in Cobourg on Monday, June 2, 2025.

Cobourg Fire Department were dispatched to a duplex on Anne Street at approximately 6:15 p.m.

When fire crews arrived on scene there were heavy fire conditions at the front of the north side duplex.

The fire was knocked down quickly and there was no one home at the time of the fire.

One side of the duplex was heavily damaged by the fire and the other side had smoke damage.

Five pets were rescued from the blaze and there is no cause of the fire and no damage estimate.
