Video – Beautiful Saturday in Cobourg’s Victoria Park – Sort of

In Local

While other people were enjoying outdoor activities in Victoria Park on Saturday, May 10, 2025, by-law and Cobourg Police were cleaning up.

A weekly run was taking place around the park, volleyball nets going up along the beach and people just enjoying the sunny morning, but in other areas of the park were discarded items.

Just south of the canteen a large about of debris and clothing filled up the entire back of a by-law pickup truck.

A tent was erected in the trailer park that has yet to open, along with other discarded items by the washrooms.

Rubber gloves, a toothbrush and other clothing was also strewn about the park.
