Upcoming Closures Due to Cobourg Marina Boat Lift-In and Hauling Operations

The Town of Cobourg would like to inform residents that there will be road closures, pedestrian closures and parking lot closures that will begin on Thursday, May 8 for the Cobourg Marina boat lift-in and hauling operations.

The spring boat lift will occur on Saturday, May 10, and the hauling day will take place on Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9.

Please note that the following closures will include pedestrian traffic. To complete these operations in the safest terms possible we must keep guests from the path of heavy equipment. Every effort will be made to open walkways and roads when safe to do so between preparation and hauling procedures.

Road and parking lot closures beginning May 8 for lifting and hauling include:

Cobourg Marina Parking Lot
Hibernia Street, south of Third Street – Not a full closure; expect delays
Third Street, between Hibernia Street and The Esplanade – Not a full closure; expect delays
Division Street, south of The Esplanade
The Esplanade
