Quinte West OPP – Driver Seriously Injured in Collision

A single vehicle collision in the east end of Quinte West has left the driver with serious injuries.

Shortly after 7:00 a.m. today (Thursday, March 13, 2025), it was reported that a vehicle had left Hamilt on Road, between Aikins Road and Jeffrey Drive, and collided with a hydro pole.

Officers with the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Quinte West Fire Department and Hastings Quinte Paramedic Service responded to the scene.

The driver, a 44-year-old Quinte West resident, was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Hamilton Road remains closed for the on-scene investigation by Quinte West officers, with assistance by an OPP Collision Reconstructionist and Technical Collision Investigation Team members.

The investigation is continuing.
