(A Cobourg Police Special Constable stands outside the door where it’s believed a woman was found deceased)
One person has been charged in connection with a death in Cobourg.
On the morning of March 2, 2025, Cobourg Police Service responded to a residence on James Street where one person was located deceased. Just before 10:00 a.m., members of the OPP were contacted to assist with the investigation.
Kenneth TROLLEY, 41 years old of Cobourg, has been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code.
The investigation is being conducted by the Cobourg Police Service with assistance from the OPP Forensic Identification Services, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
