Video – Northumberland OPP – London Man Charged with Numerous Offences Including x4 Drive Under Suspension (Name Released)

On December 28, 2024, at approximately 7:10 p.m., OPP responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Pentecostal Road in the Township of Hamilton. Police arrived and observed a pickup truck in the ditch.

An officer made an Approved Screening Device (ASD) demand which was complied with and of which the driver passed. Through further investigation, the driver was found to be prohibited from driving.
Jim WAYNOR (age 63) from London, has been charged with:

Operation while prohibited

Drive motor vehicle – improper licence

Driving while under suspension – four counts

Fail to apply for permit on becoming owner

Fail to have insurance card

Use plate not authorised for vehicle.

The vehicle was impounded for 45-days and the accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
