Municipality of Port Hope – Christmas Tree Disposal

Residents are advised that Christmas tree disposal will take place in the Municipality from January 2 to 10, 2025.

Urban Residents
Please ensure that all nails, metal bases, ornaments, lights, and other decorations are removed from your tree

Place your bare Christmas tree at your curbside on or before Monday, January 8, 2024

If you live within the Williamsport Condo Corp. (Fenton Lane, Shortreed Lane, Potts Lane) please bring your tree to Strachan Street for pickup

Please note that unfavourable weather conditions may influence the pickup schedule.

Rural Residents
Christmas trees may be taken to the Transfer Station located at 4775 5th Line, please note the holiday schedule

Please ensure that all nails, metal bases, ornaments, lights, and other decorations are removed from your tree

Place your bare Christmas tree below the bins on the west side of the lot
