Belleville Transit Fare to Increase in New Year

In Local

Belleville Transit would like to advise riders that the fees for all monthly passes, single ride tickets and concession fares will increase starting Jan. 1:

· Monthly passes will increase from $70 to $75. All paper passes for January will be sold at the new rate and are valid from Jan. 1 to Jan. 31, 2025. BTAP passes purchased either electronically or on a reloadable card will remain at the $70 fee until end of day Dec. 31, 2024 and are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. As a result, BTAP users who purchase their pass prior to Jan. 1 will save!

· Single ride tickets will increase from $3 to $3.25.

· Concession fare tickets (for seniors, children under 12 and those with a disability) will increase from $2.75 to $3, with monthly passes increasing from $65 to $70.
