Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Mischief (No Name Released)

A 46-year-old Cobourg man has been charged with mischief after an incident Monday morning.

In the early hours of Monday, October 7th, 2024, police were called to a residential neighbourhood in the area of Division Street and University Street for mischief in progress.

Witnesses were awoken by a man damaging a vehicle with a hockey stick. Police arrived, located the suspect at the scene, and placed him under arrest.

As a result of the investigation, the 46-year-old Cobourg man was charged with Mischief Over $5,000.

The accused was released with a future court date.
