Video – A Bit of Deja Vu for Driver’s in Cobourg

In Local

If driver’s in Cobourg get a sense they’ve been through this before – they are right.

A large sign posted just east of College Street on University Avenue East states, “Slow Your Roll Northumberland” and in large print “SLOW DOWN DRIVE SAFE.”

The sign is part of a Northumberland County wide campaign aimed at drivers to be more cautious while driving.

Unfortunately, looking east from College Street the sign partially obstructs the view of westbound traffic – again.

Today’s Northumberland brought the error to Northumberland County staff in January 2022 and the sign was relocated.
