In Upcoming Events

The City of Belleville’s Glanmore National Historic Site, part of the Community Services Department, is celebrating summer on July 14 with free outdoor activities for families to enjoy as part of Historic Places Days.

Visit Glanmore National Historic Site on Sunday, July 14 for an afternoon of “unplugged” fun and games on the museum grounds. There will be plenty of old-fashioned outdoor games for families to try, from carnival games, optical toys, games of chance and strategy too. Families are encouraged to bring along a picnic lunch and enjoy the museum grounds in true Victorian fashion!

Family Games Day will take place at Glanmore National Historic Site (257 Bridge St. East) from noon to 3 p.m. Outdoor activities are free as part of the National Trust for Canada’s “Historic Places Days.”

Admission for indoor tours of the historic site will apply, or enjoy free admission if you hold a Family Membership to the museum. Children ages five to 13 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information call 613-962-2329 or visit www.glanmore.ca.
