Another Successful Weekend at the Castleton Fishing Derby

It was another successful event at the Castleton Fishing Derby at Ryken’s Pond.

The annual event was held on May 4 and 5 and had over 300 people participate.

Over 200 fish were caught over the weekendSaturday Top Fish

1st Brian , age 9 , 6lbs 8oz

2nd. Audrey, age 8 , 4lbs 13 oz

Sunday Top Fish

1st Audrey, age 8 , 7lbs 10 oz

2nd Livi, 4 lbs 7 oz

Nearly $2,500 was raised during the event with a number of prizes being given away.

Organizers said the most important part of the weekend was seeing all the smiles on the people taking part.
