Filming Notice for Netflix Series ‘Ginny & Georgia’ in Cobourg

The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents that filming for the third season of the Netflix TV series ‘Ginny & Georgia’ will be taking place in Cobourg from May 14-16, 2024.

The Town of Cobourg’s Manager of Culture is working closely with the production company G2G Series 3 Inc. There will be approximately 120 crew members, 45 background performers and 40 production trucks. American flags will replace the Canadian flags flying from Victoria Hall and on King Street West, and Canada Post mailboxes will be covered as American mailboxes on Downtown Cobourg sidewalks.

Filming Locations

The El (74 King St West)
William Academy (135 King St West)
Victoria Park (near bandshell)
Victoria Hall (55 King Street West), exterior shots only
Traveling shots on roads with intermittent traffic stops.

Filming Schedule

Filming preparation will take placeTuesday, May 14 and Wednesday, May 15
Filming will take place on Thursday, May 16
Tear down will take place Friday, May 17

Temporary Road Closures and Traffic Stoppages on May 16

Intermittent traffic stoppages on King Street West, 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Albert Street from Hibernia to Durham closed, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Cobourg Police Services will be working directly with the production company to ensure safety and traffic control.

Parking meters that will be put out of use for filming will be paid for by G2G Series 3 Inc. for all the time used.
