Durham Police – Encampment Resident Charged with Assault with a Weapon (Name Released)

A male is in custody after he assaulted two males who were fishing in Pickering.

 In the early hours of Sunday, March 3, 2024, the victims were assaulted while fishing in the Duffin’s Creek area near Church Street South and the 401 Highway.  A male residing in a tent nearby approached the victims while brandishing a knife and making threats.  The suspect pushed one of the males into the creek.  The victims did not sustain any physical injuries and attended West Division to report the incident to police.

 Isaiah LITTLE, age 26 from Ajax is charged with: Assault, Assault with a Weapon, and Uttering Threats.

 He was held for a bail hearing.
