Belleville Police – Belleville Man Charged Misuse of 911 System (No Name Released)

On August 18, 2026, Belleville Police received more than 10 non-emergency 911 calls from the same male. The individual was warned about the misuse of emergency communications; however, the calls continued.

During the investigation, officers also learned that the male had contacted Paramedic Services multiple times over 24 hours, requesting transportation to hospital despite having no medical concerns requiring transport.

As a result of the investigation, a 65-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:

· Public mischief

· Fail to comply with probation order

He was held for a bail hearing.
