A determined squirrel proved that persistence pays off when it helped itself to a meal from a garbage bin at the corner of Queen Street and McGill Street on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
The resourceful rodent wasted little time disappearing inside the bin, seemingly knowing exactly what it was doing. After rummaging through the contents for a short time, the squirrel appeared to find the prize it had been searching for.
With its snack secured, the squirrel quickly scampered up a nearby tree, where it settled in for a little peace and quiet to enjoy its hard-earned find.
For this clever backyard visitor, the old saying certainly rang true: where there’s a will, there’s a way.
