Canadian Tire Cobourg Raises $10,500 for Jumpstart, Awards Barbecue Prize

In Community, Local

General Manager Matt Espey and Store Manager Brayden Shroer of Canadian Tire Cobourg presented Carson with a brand-new barbecue after his name was drawn as the winner of the store’s fundraising raffle.

The raffle was held in support of Jumpstart Charities, with all proceeds helping local children across Northumberland gain access to organized sports and recreation opportunities.

Throughout the month of June, customers at the Cobourg Canadian Tire store generously supported the campaign, raising an impressive $10,500 for Jumpstart. The funds will help remove financial barriers, giving more local children the opportunity to participate in sports, develop new skills, and build confidence through physical activity.

Store officials thanked the community for its outstanding generosity, saying the success of the campaign reflects the strong commitment Northumberland residents have to supporting local children and families.
