A vehicle took a brief tour of the east pier in Cobourg on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
Shortly after 2 p.m. a vehicle went around three large cement boulders and onto the east pier for a brief period of time.
Although going on the east pier is frowned upon due to the condition of the pier, it’s unknown if there is actually a bylaw against driving onto the pier.
