City of Belleville Parking Rates Going Up

In City Hall, Local

The City of Belleville is advising residents and visitors that parking rates will be adjusted effective April 1, 2026. Hourly parking will increase from $1.50 to $2 per hour, and the daily parking rate will increase from $12.50 to $16.

The adjustment was approved by Council as part of the 2026 Budget and reflects the rising costs associated with operating, maintaining and managing municipal parking infrastructure.

Parking revenues help support the City’s parking system, including the maintenance of meters and signage, system upgrades and parking enforcement. The updated rates will apply to on-street parking meters and municipal pay-and-display parking areas beginning April 1.

The City is providing advance notice to help residents and visitors plan accordingly.
