The Port Hope Community Health Concerns Committee is having their 4th in our Public Meeting Series “Nuclear Issues in Port Hope: Past, Present, Future”.

Date: Monday, March 9, 2026, 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Location: Port Hope Recreation Centre, Room 2, 62 McCaul Street, Port Hope.

Topics for Discussion: 1) Update on Public Comments re OPG Proposal for New Nuclear in Port Hope at Wesleyville and next steps

2) Increasing community supports and voice during federal remediation of radioactive wastes in Port Hope.

Note: The 5th Public Meeting in our Series will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 featuring Guest Speaker Theresa McClenaghan, Executive Director, Canadian Environmental Law Association on the topic ” The Legal Framework for Decision-Making on Wesleyville”.
