Belleville Police – Incidents Include Weapons Arrest, Breach, Fail to Comply

Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 306 calls for service beginning at 5:00 am on February 13, 2026 to 5:00 am on February 17, 2026.

Weapons
On February 14th at 12:38am, Belleville Police responded to the area of College Street East regarding a report of weapons. It was reported that an unknown female began walking towards a male, pulled a knife from her jacket, and continued walking towards him with the knife raised. The male was unharmed.

Upon arrival, officers located the suspect. Further investigation revealed she was in possession of three knives.

As a result of investigation, Lacy Gagne, 39-year-old Belleville woman, was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. She was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court in April.

Breach of Court Order
On February 15th at 12:27am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a report of unwanted communication. It was reported that a male had been in contact with a female, despite being bound by conditions to not communicate with the female.

As a result of investigation, officers located, arrested and charged a 32-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address, with disobeying an order of court. He was held for a bail hearing.

Fail to Comply with an Undertaking
On February 15th at 10:40am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s north end after receiving a report of a female breaching conditions of an Undertaking. It was reported that a female had attended a male’s residence, despite being bound by conditions prohibiting communication with the male or attending his residence.

Upon arrival, officers located the female at the male’s residence.

As a result of investigation, a 30-year-old Belleville woman, was arrested and charged with failure to comply with an Undertaking. She was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in March.
