Port Hope Resident Wins $350,000 Top Prize with Instant Banco

In Local

Justin Munday of Port Hope is $350,000 richer after winning a top prize with INSTANT BANCO (Game #2516).

Justin, who works in construction, said he rarely purchases lottery tickets. “I was at the convenience store and it just felt like the right time to buy a ticket,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings.

The 34-year-old father of two boys discovered his win while checking his ticket on the OLG app. “I shouted, ‘OMG – it’s real!’ I just couldn’t believe it,” he recalled. After sharing the news with his family, Justin said everyone was screaming in disbelief. “Everyone was so excited for me.”

With his windfall, he plans to purchase a new camper trailer. “I’d love to travel to the East Coast of Canada. I’d also like to visit Iceland and take the kids to Disneyland.”

“This experience has been exhilarating,” Justin added with a smile. “What an adrenaline rush!”

INSTANT BANCO is available for $20 a play and the top prize is $350,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.89. Visit the INSTANT page on OLG.ca for more information on this and other great games.

The winning ticket was purchased at A+ Variety and Convenience Store on Wellington Street in Port Hope.
