During the Festive RIDE campaign, over 1,100 vehicle checks were conducted.

  • 14 Approved Screening Device (ASD) Tests were administered.
  • Five impaired driving charges were laid.
  • In addition, seven Highway Traffic Act (HTA) Provincial Offence Notices were issued along with multiple HTA warnings.

As we welcome 2026, we encourage everyone to help keep our roads safe. Always plan ahead to stay safe:

  • Designate a sober driver.
  • Call a cab, friend, or Operation Red Nose.
  • Stay the night.

If you suspect a driver is impaired, call 9-1-1. Your call could save a life.
