The wind was whipping up Lake Ontario, but it was a beautiful sunset on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in Cobourg.
The waves were pounding against the east pier, shooting skyward with the beautiful backdrop of the sun.
The clouds partially hid the sun, but it almost seemed to shine on the lighthouse ending the day.
With 2026 only hours away – Today’s Northumberland wishes everyone a happy, safe and prosperous new year.
