Northumberland County Warming Room Open for Clients

The Northumberland County Warming Room opened up last week with 17 individuals using the facility in the first night of operations on Thursday November 27, 2025.

The only individuals allowed to access the facility are county services, security and clients.

Breakfast is not available at the Warming Room so staff are providing clients with a $5 card to purchase a hot coffee when they leave for the day at Tim Hortons.

The Warming Room is located at Northumberland County Headquarters (555 Courthouse Road, Cobourg) and is open from 8:00 p.m. to 8 a.m. until March 31, 2026.
