Video – Alnwick/Haldimand Township Fire Department Responds to Fire in Grafton

Alnwick/Haldiman Township Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire on County Road 2 in Grafton on Friday, October 31, 2025.

At approximately 10:15 a.m. fire crews were dispatched to the business on the south side of County Road 2 in Grafton.

When crews arrived there was visible smoke inside the business.

County Road 2 was closed in the area of the fire due to a hoseline being stretched across the roadway to a hydrant.

Firefighters located a small fire in the ceiling area and checked for extension.

The road was closed for approximately two hours.

It’s unknown the exact cause and there were no injuries.
