OJHL Prospect Series will have games in Cobourg and Feature Local Players

Rosters were announced recently for the Zach Hyman Ontario Junior Hockey League Prospect Series and feature a number of 2008 and 2009-born players familiar to local junior A hockey fans.

Set to play for Team East 1 are Cobourg’s Jack Foley of the Lindsay Muskies and Lincoln Edwards, Zachary Gardner and Richard Wang of the Cobourg Cougars.

Representing Team East 2 is Port Hope’s Lucas Ferguson, also of the Muskies.

The series opens Tuesday in Trenton at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Gardens.

The Cobourg Community Centre will host Prospect Series East round-robin games on Nov. 11 at 12:30 p.m. and Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.

Games will also be played in Milton, Mississauga and Brantford, which will host the championship game Jan. 6.
