City of Belleville Fireworks Reminder

City of Belleville Fire Chief Dan Smith would like to remind residents that fireworks are strictly prohibited in the urban area of Belleville without strict permission or by permit. This also includes all City owned lands and parks.

As per the Fireworks By-law, fines can and will be laid to those who contravene the strict guidelines pertaining to the lighting of fireworks. Fireworks and pyrotechnics pose a serious fire and burn risk. Please respect the safety of the public and property.

Concerns regarding the use of fireworks can be reported to Belleville Fire and Emergency Services at 613-962-4545.
