Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Impaired After Collision (No Name Released)

A 42-year-old Cobourg man is facing impaired after police responded to a collision on Wednesday.

On October 1, 2025, at approximately 6:20 p.m., police attended a motor vehicle collision involving a motor vehicle and a parked trailer in the area of University Avenue West in the Town of Cobourg.

Police observed that the driver had an odour of alcohol on his breath. As a result of the investigation, the driver, a 42-year-old Cobourg man, was arrested and charged with operation while impaired (alcohol), operation while impaired-blood concentration over 80mg.

The accused was later released on an undertaking with a court date scheduled for October 15, 2025.
