Port Hope is the popular area for salmon spotting these days.
On Sunday, September 21, 2025 Corbett’s dam was filled with visitors watching the salmon make their way, or try and make their way up the Ganaraska River.
Even downstream, the river was full of salmon making their way through the rapids.
