Winter Operations Casuals Hiring Event in Belleville

The City of Belleville is hosting a Winter Operations Casuals Hiring Event on Sept. 23 and 24 from 9 a.m. to noon and 3 to 6 p.m. at 31 Wallbridge Cres. where we will be looking for 14 hard-working and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as casual labourers for winter operations.

This position supports winter operations and maintenance requirements throughout the city including but not limited to: snow clearing, shoveling, operating and maintaining a variety of equipment, as well as general labour and work activities.

During the hiring event, applicants will be able to discuss the role and responsibilities with Transportation & Operations staff and will complete a screening questionnaire. Those interested in attending are asked to come prepared with an up-to-date resume, valid (minimum G class) driver’s license and any relevant certifications for the requirements of the job.
