Belleville Police – Minor Collision Results in Assault Charge (Name Released)

Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 91 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on August 27, 2025 to 5:00 am on August 28, 2025.

Assault
On August 27th at 4:19pm, Belleville Police responded to a report of a disturbance in a business parking lot on Bell Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers located two males and two females who were separated. Upon speaking with all parties, it was reported that a physical altercation began after a minor vehicle collision, which caused no damage but escalated into a verbal dispute. The dispute turned physical, during which one female was thrown to the ground and assaulted. As a result of the investigation, Paige Fox, 22-year-old Flinton woman, was arrested and charged with assault. She was released on an appearance notice.
