Subject: Being a Mayoral Decision to delegate the hiring of a Community Services Director to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)

Under the Authority: Part Vl.1 (Special Powers and Duties of Head of Council) of the Municipal Act, 2001, Sections 284.6 (Powers re Employment Matters) and 284.13(1) (Delegation re Organizational Structure):

I, Mayor Lucas Cleveland, have decided as follows:

To delegate the power to hire a Community Services Director in accordance with the Town’s Recruitment Policy and all other Human Resources polices and legislation to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and that the CAO may utilize such executive search assistance as may be necessary funded through the Staff contingency reserve fund.
